In this role, you’ll work collaboratively with internal and external contacts to develop and implement a national/international communications strategy to include consumer media and/or medical scientific trade media. You’ll need extraordinary drive and proven national media experience to help build our reputation as a world-renowned research institution. Bachelor's degree required
Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, journalism, marketing or other related field preferred
Five (5) years of experience working in media relations, print or broadcast journalism or any combination of these roles.
Experience working with local, regional and national media and a proven track record of placements within national outlets utilizing consumer and/or medical scientific media is required.
Experience working in a health care or scientific setting is preferred.
Experience in integrating multimedia, social media, and online media strategies for audiences of all levels are preferred.
Effective organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
