Responsible for the direction and oversight of operational analytics and reporting to support research, clinical, administrative, and financial needs across the organization. Oversees analytical team in the extraction, aggregation, and quality assurance of data from multiple sources in support of performing operational reporting and quantitative analyses. Partners with organizational leadership to design and develop scorecards and dashboards showing high level results and trends. Determines opportunities and identifies solutions to improve capabilities and efficiencies in reporting. Leads analytics group to architect and deliver solutions that fulfill the information needs of the institution while ensuring various regulatory and compliance policies are in-place and followed. Facilitates the establishment and execution of the roadmap and vision for information delivery and management; including the enterprise data warehouse, business intelligence and analytics, and data management/governance. Contributes to a learning culture and continuous process improvement.
Bachelor's degree in Hospital Administration, Management Information Systems, Administrative/Financial specialty, or related area is required.
Master's degree is preferred.
Ten (10) years progressive experience with hospital administration, payor, research institute, or information technology, leveraging operational analytics is required.
Five (5) years of management experience is required.
Demonstrated competency with analytical concepts and technology is required.
Experience with a complex specialty research hospital preferred.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred
