The Department of Global Pediatric Medicine (GPM)/St. Jude Global (SJG) at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (SJCRH) is seeking an experienced Travel Coordinator to plan and coordinate arrangements for departmental and international travelers visiting the department.




The Travel Coordinator is responsible for:

  • Coordinating all travel related matters for GPM/SJG faculty and staff travelers.
  • Organizing and managing travel and housing for incoming international visitors to GPM.
  • Advising travelers on best practices, policies and procedures for presence on St Jude campus.
  • Assisting with coordination of Visa requirements for visitors in conjunction with St. Jude Immigration Services.
  • Working directly with St. Jude compliance, legal, and security offices to ensure compliance with departmental and St. Jude policies.
  • Developing and implementing standard operating procedures for incoming and outgoing travelers.
  • Assisting with scheduling and meetings for on-site visitors.
  • Developing and maintaining information pertaining for GPM travel webpages.
  • Serving as liaison to St. Jude travel office and executive travel agency.

Minimum Education

  • Bachelor's degree in business, communications, event management,or related field required
  • Master's degree preferred

Minimum Experience

  • Four (4) years of experience in international travel coordination.

  • Excellent PC and design skills are essential.

  • Must have demonstrated ability to plan and coordinate multiple projects/work initiatives.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience in the international and health care arena.

  • Fluency in Spanish.

  • Complex project management.
